In September I’ll be walking the Coast to Coast (in England), arguably one of the world’s best long distance walks (hopefully it lives up to its reputation!).
A relatively short 310km’s (12 days) from the West to East Coast of Northern England, starting in the famous Lakes District National Park, the walk weaves through 3 national parks.
Despite the trail being made famous by Albert Wainwright in 1973, it is not recognised as a ‘National Trail’ and is therefore not sign posted or way marked. The challenge? Not getting lost!!
